1994

ESTABLISHED

In 1994, M. Dominic Elisii and his brother M. Tony Elisii launched Café Dépôt.

The two Italian brothers who strived to offer the best quality coffee and fresh pastry delights at a reasonable price to the public and bring that authentic European café experience, flavours, and culture to the Quebec market.

The first store opened in Carrefour Laval mall in Laval. Soon after, Café Dépôt got famous for its freshly roasted and ground daily coffee blends.

Given the success of its formula, the Café Dépôt team wasted no time in setting up a franchising program that has already found franchisee candidates mainly in Montreal.

Constant innovation

In a market that is constantly evolving, Café Dépôt stands above the competition because of two simple principles: calculated concept management and persistent innovation.

The growth in demand for healthy food and sustainable products led Café Dépôt to shift towards healthy and vegetarian menu options such as meal bowls, sandwiches, wraps, vegan pastries, and snacks.

Café Dépôt has been working primarily with local suppliers to offer fresh and high-quality products, leaving a positive impact on our economy and the environment.
